Meet the 2019 Scholarship Recipients

Behold the beauty of the American dream, from two very different origins! Your donations are fueling the dreams for these strong, giving, beautiful young women! Michaela (far left) cares for her grandparents at home, works to pay for medicine, and attends school full time to become a medical sonographer at Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, NC.

Xochitl (second from left) works to provide mental health care for the Hispanic community at El Futuro, to “nurture strong familias to live out their dreams”. As she works 30 hours per week while attending school full time and caring for her siblings, she seeks to become a psychiatrist, and is working to complete her degree at NC State.
